The Guild Experience
Engaging head, hand and heart.
The Guild Experience is a pioneering education project, for thirteen to fifteen year-olds, based in the Cotswolds, UK. Students take part in rigorous academic and artistic projects with real-world audiences. We combine exciting and enlightening place-based learning with the personal and social elements of the finest summer camps.
We believe that a good education is one that fosters curiosity, respect, thoughtfulness and joy, where students feel empowered to grow and are excited about their own learning. Our goal is to give each student the most profound and important educational experience of their lives.
Our 'Winter Semester' runs for eleven weeks from January until April, and our shorter 'Summer Retreat' runs for two weeks in June.
“James and Pip have been exceptionally thoughtful, caring and successful mentors to students at this crucial age of their development and I have seen many young lives and perspectives changed under their tutelage.”
- John Curtis, Founder of The Winter Term
"Pip is an extraordinary person, filled with an energy, light, and passion for mentoring young people that is rare in this world and a joy to behold. As a parent, I cannot think of a better gift for your child than joining Pip for an experience of a lifetime. He is absolute magic, and your children will be forever the better for their time with him!"
- Blair, parent
"I never imagined how much someone could teach me… You have taught me more than you will ever know. I will carry your wisdom with me throughout my entire life…"
- Lily, student
